Sling Technology is very cool, and SlingBox is certainly one way to go, but I felt a lot more comfortable getting my Sling Adapter through my TV provider DISH. I guess these boxes run around $140-180, but with DISH I got it for only $30. I use Sling on my iPad, and once I got the free DISH Remote Access App I could take my live TV and DVR with me on the go. It works anywhere I can connect to 3G, 4G or WiFi, and comes in SO handy when my family and I are on road trips, camping, long lines at the airport and more. I can set a DVR recording to be ready for when I get home and even go to Dishonline.com to get thousands of movies and shows on my laptop or PC. My boss at DISH told me about the $30 promotion going on and I am definitely glad I grabbed one when I could!
